ATL

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport – Atlanta, GA

City of Atlanta Department Of Aviation – PBB Replacement and Upgrade Project (116 Gates)

ASE provided design and construction of the single largest aviation fixed ground support system project in history. The project included design and replacement of 116 PBBs, 91 400Hz gateboxes, 59 PCA AHUs, 15 POU 400Hz units, eight POU PCA units, building electrical upgrades, central PCA plants, central 400Hz plants, GSE communication buses, and building egress systems across seven concourses. It impacted every gate and every airline operating at the world’s busiest airport.

Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport – Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas

Fixed Ground Support Equipment Professional Services

AERO is deeply involved with multiple airside projects at DFW as part of our 5-year on-call. ASE has provided ongoing assistance to the owner in developing an equipment replacement plan for the next few years to address the aging airside infrastructure and has completed or currently undergoing multiple projects.

Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport

Concourse B PBB Replacement Project (28 gates)

Design and construction support services for the replacement of all existing PBBs on Concourse B. The project included a complete airside evaluation, new aircraft parking plan and ramp striping for 28 gates, hydrant fuel system modifications, replacement of the existing PCA Central Plant and distribution piping, and conversion of the central 400Hz system to point-of-use units.

JFK

John F. Kennedy International Airport – Queens, NY

Delta Terminal 4 Expansion - Phase 2.5 (Concourse A & B, 20 Gates)

The JFK T4 Redevelopment is a capacity enhancement project with the aim of right-sizing the terminal for the project future demands for Delta and JFK. A primary goal of the project is to enable the closure of T2, with T2 operations being relocated to the expanded T4. This will allow Delta to fully consolidate their JFK operations to just T4. AERO provided planning, design and consulting services including airside planning, aircraft parking layout, PBB, GPU, VDGS, RIDs, eGSE charging stations and airside striping.

John F. Kennedy International Airport Project Gallery

SLC

Salt Lake City International Airport - Salt Lake City, Utah

Salt Lake City Department of Airports Terminal Redevelopment Project (TRIP) (38 Gates)

ASE provided complete airside designs for three concourses (SCW, SCE and NCW), complete airside aircraft maneuvering and parking, taxiways/ lanes, 38 gates (expandable to 47), PBBs, 400Hz ground power, three central PCA system plants, full facility eGSE battery charging, baggage valets, aircraft docking systems and potable water systems.

Salt Lake City International Airport Project Gallery

LAX

Los Angeles International Airport – Los Angeles, California

Delta Air Lines – Airline Relocation and Terminal Redevelopment (56 Gates)

ASE provided airside design and construction services for the relocation of the existing Delta Air Lines operations from Terminals 5 and 6 to Terminals 2 and 3. Twenty airlines were relocated to Terminals 5 and 6 and the Tom Bradley International Terminal. This project shifted 40% of the total airline capacity at LAX from one location to another.

MEM

Memphis International Airport - Memphis, TN

Passenger Boarding Bridge and Aircraft Parking Modernization (75 Gates)

This project included the phases, design, and construction to ultimately consolidate all air carriers from Concourses A, B, and C to a modernized and redeveloped Concourse B. Conncourse A and C were to be partially demolished, decommissioned and mothballed. This was a significant multi- year design and construction project that consolidated 75 gates with PBBs spread across 3 Concourses to a final 39 gates on 1 Concourse.

SFO

San Francisco International Airport – San Francisco, CA

Boarding Area A Gate Enhancements (12 Gates)

ASE is providing airside planning, engineering, and design for this 12-gate, 24-PBB project. The primary focus is to increase the ADG-V and ADV-VI capacity at the international terminal to accommodate the airlines’ larger aircraft and plan for future aircraft, such as the B777-9X.

Boise Airport - Boise, ID

Civil, electrical, and mechanical design and construction administration services for the Alaska Airlines De-Icing Facility

Civil, electrical, and mechanical design and construction administration services for the Alaska Airlines De-Icing Facility at Boise Airport. The new De-Icing Facility consists of 3 New Glycol Storage tanks and subsequent mechanical equipment to facilitate de-icing truck operations.
